that looks like a coverup more than a ticker, or MediaHub didn’t render it properly because you can see the lines where it’d be cut out

Every bulletin hour include a brief roundup of other headlines. This is the format of the supers during those.
Although it has also been seen occasionally when there’s no leading title.

Interesting - you can cast it to another device from a browser, but not from the link in the BBC App, I didn’t realise!

After the PM’s presser at around 11am they crossed to Romy Stephens in Canberra and they seemed to keep muting her audio and at one stage cut back to Kath with half of the background being a close up of the control room backdrop:
I assume the cut to Kath was due to automation at the top of the hour.

A live cross to Matt Doran happened at 1am AEST. Good to see a live bulletin after midnight.

Probably only driven by the fact that Lebanon strikes have become too hard to ignore. Still a good effort from them to refresh the bulletin.
