Not seen this often, but the NC has a breakfiller consisting of scenic imagery whenever BBC takes a UK newsbreak.

I’m liking them having BBC News - I wish they did more often!
They used to overnight, alternating between them and Al Jazeera. Does anyone know why they changed to DW? (is it licencing fees?)

Probably that and also around the time they dropped it, they removed the geo-blocking on the News Channel YouTube stream, so likely also changed to avoid conflict with BBC’s contracts in other countries, etc.

Sick, problem is when would they use it during normal programming? Wonder why they have it at all.
They also have a one without the text on the LHS which is used quite often in the evening.

“Normal programming”, I meant regularly. Obviously it’s a great breakdown slide option, but like during breaks they play ads so it’s not like it could be their loop.

no, they normally have programs or promos to run.
Not consulting the BBC schedule then.
It clearly did state that NN was going to run for 45 minutes.
Not that it matters anyway, we are only 3 hours away from resumption of normalcy.
same thing BBC Two is airing right now.
It’s definitely used fairly often at the bottom of the hour.

So many things wrong there
- ABC News programming is returning at 12.30 today, as stated on the ticker
- The ABC made the ABC News section the home page now. Thus making that link.. also wrong
And they got the hybrid 2021-2024 & 2025-2026 Ticker hybrid.. as well as some parts of the current ticker slipping in
Ticker is usually inserted by the ABC before it gets sent out to MediaHub, perhaps the ABC didn’t give MH the full suite of templates?
