According to our latest reading, the planets all seem to be aligning for the ABC’s talented news boss Emily Smith following an impressive stint overseeing the public broadcaster’s dedicated news channel.
And we’re not the only ones predicting big things on the horizon for her either: one particularly well-placed ABC insider told Diary that the news offering had been the broadcaster’s strongest performers under Smith’s stewardship and that her news sense had been credited with driving much of the channel’s year-on-year growth.
Odd. That clock is considerably larger than the regular one with the ABC News logo.
