Larger text is much better - more in-line with the older ABC News graphics.
This ‘refresh’ looks fine, just don’t like the white-grey gradient in the light super.

It kinda feels like a change for the sake of change.
I don’t think anyone had issues with what was changed… The ticker is still sherif and tiny, which is what everyone was upset about. Although I do like the new sound the swipes make in the headline recap.

Very Liquid Glass. Otherwise, change for change’s sake. None of it a particularly well executed update, which happens time and time again for these mid-life in-house updates.
