We have met the quota of quotes for DM, and there’s 9 hours to go until the Coverage begins on the ABC Article is now being written up, ready to hit “release” button at 11pm, saying it’s the worst coverage ever. Repeat for the next decade.

We were teased Bluey, thought we’d get more than a blink and you’ll miss it pylon projection. Kids were very disappointed.

The coverage has improved from 10 years ago when it was just presenters on a couch, an unfunny year in review, long shots during the fireworks and too much alcohol in between the two fireworks show.
Plus there was a display at 10:30pm in 2013.
A 2nd smaller watermark has been on-screen for the last 5 minutes.
Not even the control room are watching the coverage.

The music during the fireworks wasn’t great this year, usually it’s pretty good (I’m pretty sure that’s not an ABC thing though, it’s the city of Sydney)
