I think I am the only person in the entire country who liked the pub quiz, and is saddened that it isn’t on this year :stuck_out_tongue:

I thought it was great too. A shame it had to go. Maybe they should have had it earlier in the evening instead of that Making Muriel repeat.

Next year they should run the Pub Quiz as a separate show before the main broadcast at 7.30pm

Nah…I think it’s for the best that The Pub Quiz didn’t return for 2017.

A serious “ABC News: Year In Review” special would’ve been more appropriate, although admittedly this would be something better to schedule at 7.30pm leading into the coverage or on the News Channel rather than between the fireworks displays.

It would probably be better for it to air at 9:30pm like it did last year and have a smaller concert (compared to the Countdown one tonight) headlined by a single artist/band follow it

I think the concert would have been better if we got more than one song out of the Countdown Legends like Marcia Hines, JPY and Jimmy Barnes (like Kate Ceberano did) and less from some of the nobodies that followed.
