Heard the recording on ABC Melbourne website. Unfortunately, Victorian viewers missed the start of Sharnelle and Bobâs first show because of bushfire warnings so they didnât get to hear their introduction.

A couple further updates to the summer scheduling:
Tasmania is still getting a local afternoons and evenings programs - drive was the national program.
Canberra is still getting a local Drive program while the cricket is on.
NSW & ACT evenings will be presented by Sirine Demachkie for the next few days.
From Thursday, NSW and ACT will get a local afternoons program with Emma Crowe (Sydney), while Victoria will get Brigitte Duclos. Warrwick Long will also be doing statewide drive from Thursday for Victoria.
NSW regional drive presenter Jess McGuire will be presenting Fridayâs mornings program in Sydney.

About 10 people were gathered by ABCâs boss to completely overhaul the national broadcaster â but things didnât go to plan. Now, disgruntled staff speak out.
Its mission was to review ABC radio and formulate a blueprint that would initially be implemented in capital city stations before rolling out across the regions.

That was a bit of a confusing article but at least at the end it was recognised that the ABC needs to provide some return on the investment in the form of appealing to a broader audience. I get the feeling change will be glacial though.

What a clusterfâŚk. ABC shitstorm has been brewing for years. Inmates have been running the asylum under a succession of hapless management. Cliques and individuals pushing their own agendas left, right and centre (well, actually Left, Left and Left mostly). The one and only bright spot in the whole crumbling edifice is inmho : ABC Classic :))

@OnAir @TelevisionAU How much longer are you guys going to keep this thread, and the ABC News Channel thread continue like this? Presenter rosters are posted weekly in these threads but more often than not end up being incorrect.
The only conversation this seems to be generating is members correcting the posts and posting whoâs actually on air.
Whatâs the point of it?

Sharnelle Vella and Bob Murphy hosted evenings in Victoria, Queensland, SA and NT this week, as a dress rehearsal for their Melbourne breakfast show next month. I listened to their Wednesday show on ABC listen app, and it was quite good. Being a semi-national show there were just one or two local topics.
Who else has listened to their show?

I had a brief listen earlier this week - they sound like a good duo with good chemistry. Hopefully they get decent ratings in the Breakfast slot, though whatâs definitely sure is that they will get better ratings than the station who airs Kyle and Jackie O 
.

Finished up his latest 2 and a bit weeks filling in today.
He announced heâll be hosting Saturday Breakfast / Mornings for a number of weeks from Jan 25th, while itâs regular presenter Kate OâToole continues on a secondment.
