Apparently today is training day at the new studios in Parramatta.
And as such ABC Sydney has been taking Canberra Afternoons and Drive programs today.
With national programs now going live across NT and SA, this also means that Saturday Night Country is live on regional stations.
Lattouf did an interview with BBC News presenter Matthew Amroliwala on the weekend.
Interesting statement from John Lyon. ABC is really losing control of this situation.
In my opinion the way in which Lattouf reacted to the situation was a deliberate stunt to raise her public profile.
They never had control of it

Did you or someone you know survive Cyclone Tracy?
ABC News in Darwin is looking for people/families who survived Cyclone Tracy in 1974, who would be willing to share their experiences as a part of the 50th Anniversary coverage planned for this year.
Whether still living in Darwin or not, we would like to hear from you. If you or someone you know are interested in being involved, please send a direct message to ABC Darwin via their Instagram or Facebook.
Maybe ABC Darwin can ask their colleagues at 702 to contact Summer Bay about this ![]()

Also put a call to Nova.
(For those who donât get the reference Kate Ritchie presents Breakfast on Nova 96.9 in Sydney)
Matt Tribe will host Mornings from 9 to 11am with the program airing on all ABC regional Victoria stations.
More cuts to local ABC, with the Shepperton/Goulburn Murray and the Gippsland Saturday programs being axed in favour of more state-wide regional programming.
Corny, yes but the joke about ABC Darwinâs special deciding to contact Summer Bay because as a seven-year-old, âSallyâ had played a fictional little young lady caught up in Cyclone Tracy felt too delicious not to use!
Thanks @TV-Expert , the article is extremely misleading and doesnât question the ABC at all.
The real headline should be that that ABC is removing all local Saturday morning programs in Victoria.
How long before this contagion spreads to other states?
Why is the ABC cost cutting at local radio?
What happened to the supposed saviour of a federal Labor govt funding the ABC to appropriate levels to retain services? Clearly life isnât easy under Albanese.
Is this a breach of the ABC Charter by neglecting these markets? Remembering that local mornings weekdays were removed in recent years.
Seems Regional Victoria has less local programming than other states, with the state-wide mornings program going for 2 hours, instead of a state-wide 10am hour like other states.
Hasnât been mentioned yet, but last Thursday in place of evenings shows Adam Shirley from ABC Canberra presented a national program covering the Australian of the Year awards. Was broadcasted live into SA and the NT, which meant they got the full Nightlife program afterwards, instead of missing the first half-hour.
Stan Shaw returns to ABC South West
ABC South West WA is thrilled to announce that Stan Shaw is returning to the region to present the breakfast program in 2024.
The popular presenter will return to the airwaves from 5 February.
âI canât wait to get back to the best region in Australia,â Stan says. âI love the South West.
âI look forward to reconnecting with the locals, sharing the stories that matter and interviewing the quirky characters.â
Stan was a favourite on South West radio for years before doing a stint at ABC Radio Perth.
He says heâs looking forward to not only catching up with his beloved audience but also enjoying everything the South West has to offer â from mountain biking trails to camping spots and breweries.
âI started my ABC radio journey 14 years ago in Albany and since then I have presented programs all over WA,â he says.
âTo be honest, South West breakfast is my absolute favourite. But donât tell the others.â
Clare Negus, Regional Editor for ABC WA, says: âItâs fantastic to have Stan back where he belongs in the beautiful South West and no doubt ABC listeners will be thrilled to be hearing him again.
âStan knows and loves the South West patch and its people. He is a talented broadcaster and just great company in the mornings.
âIâm sure everyone will welcome him home with open arms.â
Listeners can tune into Stan each morning from 6.30am to 8am via the ABC Listen App or Bunbury on 684AM, Bridgetown on 1044 AM, Manjimup on 738 AM radio.
This whole saga is satire gone bad.
The ABC again mistakenly think not acting as a model litigant will help them. It didnât help them against Heston Russell and it wonât hear.
Antoinette wears white to court, same as Higgins did. All about public perception on TV, makes no difference in court.
