Was thinking the same, maybe they thought there was little interest but hedged a bet each way with a 7pm and 10pm news specials just in case, but perhaps this evening have since read the room and given the developments and went back to rolling coverage. Wrong EPG will also hurt them. Hard to see them continuing the movie now, at least in edt zones.

I would say Sevens now changing its programming line up. The movie may resume after the news.
Seven just inserted a commercial promoting the movie coming up next.

There was a break in the cricket but nothing from Nine. Full time in the Rugby League âŚ

Even though promos ran all week and today for â7:30pm tonightâ, including during tonightâs news and ânext upâ during the 7pm referendum special and about 90min of the movie played!

After some post match analysis (and ads) Nine went straight from Rugby League to Cricket in Sydney and Brisbane.

ABCâs coverage was scheduled to finish at 9:00pm AEDT. Not sure why they are still going.

When was the last time / what was the title, a movie or program abruptly stopped but never got returned to? Have a feeling there was one a few years ago, mightâve been an election or major weather emergency or royal night? Iâm aware it happens during day time/midday sometimes.

Went straight back into the movie from where it stopped, with the scene of Mary Steamburger in Sandra Bullock and Ryan Reynoldsâ bedroom.
Maybe the promos during the pre emption tonight were inserted manually by NPC Media playout, as to reassure viewers theyâd be returning to them after the rolling coverage. So Queensland markets are now watching Air Crash Iâm guessing?

Think itâs probably more to do with the timing of events in that since Dutton & Price spoke not long after Albanese & Burnley did, it made sense for Seven & 10 to stick with the coverage once they cut into the movies they were showing in order to cover the addresses by both parties.

The Proposal is airing on 7 in Brisbane, got about 3 minutes left though, going back into Voice coverage at 9:50pm AEST.

This big scrolling text through your coverage is ugly, distracting and unnecessary. Not sure if âwinsâ is the right word for this either. Itâs not an election.
