(19/8/2019) Tracy Grimshaw is in Spearwood, WA for tonight’s program.
Tracy is “on assignment” (from last night) and now Sylvia Jefferies is also “on assignment” for ACA:
Martin King was with Pauline Hanson at Uluru.
King did a story on the now partial climb.
Anyone else notice that there isn’t a fade in/out (at-least in Sydney) from 6pm news the ACA opener just plays straight on top of the end of the 6pm bulletins now.
Pauline Hanson story airs tonight.
Absolute trash from ACA.
Wednesday 28 August-
Leila McKinnon is hosting tonight.
Friday 6 September-
Brady Halls is hosting tonight.
Ben Fordham to host A Current Affair as the 6:00pm to 8:00pm work day would suit his role as a dad and Tracy Grimshaw to move to 2GB - that is the claim in this made up story in New Idea.
As opposed to him taking over Today, as reported in other media last week.
How ridiculous, they’ll make up anything.
He will do both.
And all five metro news bulletins.
And be the new host of This Time Next Year.
And Ninja.
And be a new judge on Masterchef with the show moving to Nine in 2020.
What is it with Ben Fordham that makes him an obsession for some people in the media?
Personally I think his broadcasting style fits the notoriously editorial 2GB & ACA like a glove (Ben would probably also be a good presenter for a post-6pm Sky News program), but it’s extremely poor on news bulletins, Today, Ninja Warrior and just about everywhere else.
The comments and suggestions are probably coming from people who lean that way.
Leila McKinnon is hosting this week while Tracy is away on assignment.
Checking out her new office at 2GB?
Monday 16 September-
Tracy is back hosting tonight.
The flat ACA corner logo has been used in promos for a while now, probably since February when the current look Promo Endtags came into use.
Tonight, ACA are reporting on a former “The Block” couple splitting up (presumably because one of them is former AFL player Darren Jolly).
But Current Affairs, Channel Nine?
Really?
Oh how the show has fallen from when Jane Wendt hosted it.
