Why do they need to have their ACA logo appear on the screen twice? Or four times in this case? :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

ACA reporter Alison Piotrowski spoke to Tracy in-studio about her personal encounter with Don Burke and revealed exclusive information:

Strange they didn’t log into 9NOW.

Ben McCormack spared jail over child porn charges; been given a three-year good behaviour bond

When will Grimshaw interview Ben McCormack?

Anti-Hillsong activist Tanya Levin has written that McCormack wasn’t at all interested in doing stories on pedophile Frank Houston, nor son Brian Houston’s failure to report his father for being a pedophile. McCormack’s only interest in Hillsong was about the money side of it. Levin has apologised for putting McCormack out there as a trust worthy person.

After Levin got arrested for allegedly breaching a direction to not enter Hillsong premises, an incident that occurred because McCormack was interviewing Levin outside the event, McCormack abandoned Levin wanting nothing more to do with her. The subsequent conviction against Levin was wiped on appeal, but that didn’t make it onto A Current Affair.

I hope McCormack is genuine in his remorse.

ACA tonight on Ben McCormack’s sentencing:

Tracy also gave a lengthy statement regarding McCormack - very well said, in my opinion - i’ll post it here as soon as it’s on 9NOW

Ben McCormack being on the receiving end of an ACA post court ambush was laughable and cringeworthy. Did they really expect to get a reaction?

ACA promised from day 1 to report fully on this story and leaving court all part of the process Of course he wasn’t going to speak.
Tracy did mention tonight she wanted to interview McCormack and so far he had refused

Tracy will probably start her holidays next week.

She apologised at the end of the program for bumping some [frivolous, pointless] consumer story. Hopefully when she comes back from holidays Tracey no longer has to introduce rubbish stories. False hope, I know.

Yes, I agree. From that point on, Leila McKinnon will probably fill in for Tracy?

And I suppose that sometime in the next week or so, ACA will probably continue to cover the big stories over Summer by holding their major supermarket-sponsored annual Christmas hamper giveaway at the local parks of suburbs in the outskirts of Australia’s biggest metropolitan areas!

Tracy spoke respectively and truthfully tonight in regards to McCormack. She is definitely an asset to the program.

But what about the consumer story that was bumped? Won’t somebody please think of the consumers? :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

Question:

When day/night cricket is on, do Nine take a punt as to whether ACA will be required (i.e.) 4th or 5th day or not at all.

Surely Tracy Grimshaw isn’t just standing around Nine twiddling her thumbs?

I’m 99% sure that Nine would have the ACA team (and a similar deal for those working on the daytime news bulletins, etc.) on standby if they know there’s a particularly high chance of the cricket finishing early or getting washed out.

Something I have a problem with. If he were sorry about the actions, he would’ve owned up to it and stopped it long ago. He’s only sorry because he was caught. I don’t think someone who says

I want to make love to one so badly

in 2015 and

I wanna get pedo with you

earlier this year would be sorry for their actions.

I’m guessing they’d also probably have a few non-time sensitive “consumer” stories in the can just in case of cricket wash outs and early finishes, and other anomalies.

Chill out. It’ll be the lead story on 9 News Queensland tomorrow night.

No she’d be at work, probably gets in at 3 or 4. They’d prepare a show and if it doesn’t go to air they’d deal with it.
