Where’s Duncanville?
The Mindy Project seems to have gone to 9Now as well as Royal Pains.
Says it expires 5th of April 2021 that’s decent.
Does it rate well ? Isn’t it on in non prime time?
Airing double episodes 6pm weeknights on 9Go!, with repeats the next day at 2pm.
Does it still rate well at 6pm? What was usually on then?
Amazes me how 10 never had New Girl every episode available to stream on demand or Malcolm in the Middle every episode when they had it, yet 9 and SBS have managed to. Surely not a cost issue?
Edit: It started off with episodes available for a few weeks on 10play of Malcolm but from memory they weren’t available for a year more like 2 weeks or something and when it went off air for a few weeks it came back with no on demand episodes.
Seems 7 and 9 are picking up a lot of shows for their services and 10Play is left as some weak service .
55 mins of music clips from Music From the Home Front are available on 9Now.

Any idea why 9 skipped Ep 11 Season 2 of Malcolm in the Middle? My Apple TV has when scrolling Ep 9 High School Play, Ep 10 The Bully and then it goes Ep 12 Cheerleader.
Is it a classification issue?
Probably? Or their master tape from 20 years ago is damaged or lost LOL.
I get they still might not still have rights for footage in the intro but why did they have to butcher the intro song?
Edit: I am incorrect, see my next post.
Seems they only aired ep10 the bully and ep 9 high school play , ep 12 is actually from season 1 not sure why it is listed again under Season 2, must be an error.
I think Nine have the new copies that are in upscaled HD (since they have the new 20th Century Fox closer). Foxtel still have non-widescreen copies (S2-5), and some even have the Dolby Surround logo in the corner back from the mid 2000s during it’s original run!
What did they do?
Edit: I just realised that this is just an earlier version of the intro and not a remastered version.
Shane Crawford and Nine News reporter Ayrton Woolley will host a new AFL show for 9Now called Full Time, a half hour review of the weekend’s matches. It debuts on Sunday, June 14 at 8pm AEST. Crawford and James Hird filmed the original pilot in December 2018 and Crawford is still hopeful the former Essendon captain and coach will be among the guests.

Nine are really going belts and braces with AFL shows. Good to see.
Desperate Housewives is set to join 9Now. Interesting as I thought it would’ve been better on 7plus as the series originally aired on Seven
Coming July 1.
I thought it would have ended up on Stan as it is distributed by Disney/ABC isn’t it?.. thinking they (Stan) still get the stuff that doesn’t go on Disney because it isn’t family friendly eg Family Guy and shows like The Fosters and Good Trouble ? Stuff that was/is on Fox/ABC/Freeform but owned by Disney?
Then again… 2 Broke Girls was on 9Now for 12 months expired and ended up on Amazon Prime Video.
Again, there’s a difference between BVOD and SVOD distribution rights. Maybe the SVOD ones weren’t available as they are going elsewhere or were too expensive, so 9 could only pick them up for 9Now.
