I agree - although my suspicion is the likely return from users opting into paying would mean they would have to charge advertisers reduced rates and that the sums wouldn’t add up.
We’re already seeing SVOD services include ads on paid tiers.
They are trying to use the same advertising model they have for the traditional media which doesn’t work. I am a big fan of Judy Justice and watch it on Freevee over a VPN it’s an ad supported service however they don’t have over 3 minutes of ads like 7plus does at most it’s probably 2 minutes which is tolerable. 7plus could learn a lot from that approach. With Worburten leaving they might get a chance of changing the approach. Long ad breaks don’t work on VOD platforms and they do not work on traditional media just the management don’t seem understand it.
Really?? I did not know that…
Watching TVNZ+ and it’s about a minute worth of ad breaks when they happen and there’s the countdown in the top corner like on the YouTube ads.
Anyone know where I can find this year’s broadcast of School Spectacular NSW?
Tried 7plus, but it only has the Victorian spec on it….
It’s on 7Plus
Oh sorry. I couldn’t find it in the Fetch search. What’s it called in 7plus, please?
No worries!
NSW Schools Spectacular 2023: Fabulous!

It also looks like the A Country Practice and SAS Australia channels are back. Perhaps they were never removed and it was an error on their TV Guide when I noticed their removal last time?
As long as they leave Gusto alone. It’s my fave FAST channel.
Yeah it’s definitely one of the higher quality channels available. I also like Outdoor Channel and Nature Time.
Grace and Frankie is a Netflix show isn’t it? How does Seven get the rights to it?
I think it’s a Samsung TV plus channel as well.
I think Bojack Horseman was on FTA at some point too.
Yep, can confirm that.
Yes, on SBS.
Earlier Netflix originals seem to have contracts that allow the production company to syndicate the show or have the rights revert back after a certain amount of time. I think Grace and Frankie was made by Lionsgate so that’s probably why?
7plus has been added to Foxtel.
I would really like to see a news tab on the 7app. You sort of need to go digging for news.
