As a taster or is the whole series to air?

Episode 2 is on Wednesday 8th, so the whole series.

Iā€™m not sure why they would air this on the main channel at such a late time. Why not just put it on 7Bravo at an earlier time slot?

Saw a digital ad for this today in Brisbane on a bus stop, nearly missed that it was for 7+ as the logo was placed on the top RHS and other than the show logo and ā€œstream for freeā€ it didnā€™t really say anything about what it was.

Surprised theyā€™d spend ad $$ on a limited series which premiered a year ago stateside.

Iā€™d be putting up ads instead to say that Big Brother Uncut is back, exclusive to 7+.

One for those who watch the fast channels on 7+ - do any of them have advertising that isnā€™t for a seven show/stream?

I was setting 7+ up for my parents over the weekend and watched a little bit of the fast channels - all the ā€˜adsā€™ seemed to be promos for stuff on the data channels or elsewhere on 7+

Havenā€™t seen any ads other than the 7+ show promos and we watch reasonably regularly with different things.

The Apple Tv app 7plus app looks amazing.

Also saw an ad for A Friend of the Family ā€¦ a Peacick series produced by Nbc Universal.

Would 7 have first pick of Peacock content ?

First pick of a series that aired a year ago in the US? Donā€™t think there was any competition there quite frankly.

Also the show has been discussed a fair bit above and in the programs & schedules thread.

New (I think) promo for 7Plus, with a tagline saying ā€œstop paying, start watchingā€ and like how it shows the platform interface like a person scrolling and tapping with their finger, it highlighted a few shows and included an updated, seemed glossier and slicker animation.

7plus set for a big, hot summer

New exclusive series, new sport, new movies and more

The Seven Networkā€™s on-demand and streaming platform 7plus is set for a big, hot summer with new, exclusive overseas series, blockbuster movies, a new Home and Away FAST channel and some of the best sport from Australia and around the world.

The summer line-up includes the US series Startup starring Adam Brody, Martin Freeman, Ron Perlman and Mira Sorvino; the anthology horror series Monsterland; new seasons of The Voice UK and Celebrity SAS: Who Dares Wins; and the US reality series Frogger.

Also coming to 7plus across the summer months are the US detective comedy-drama series Psych; the British drama Jamestown; the US science fiction-thriller series The Event with Jason Ritter and Laura Innes; the police procedural drama Gone starring Chris Noth, Leven Rambin and Danny Pino; and the British thriller Midnight Man with James Nesbitt.

Today the very first season of Sevenā€™s hit drama series Home and Away has been added to the growing library of 7plus FAST channels. Over 30 of Sevenā€™s 50 FAST channels are exclusive to 7plus and feature a curated schedule of premium, Australian programs that local audiences love, including Better Homes and Gardens, Border Security and Home and Away .

New movies coming to 7plus over summer include Men In Black International, Spiderman: Into the Spiderverse, Spiderman: Far From Home, 1917, Zombieland, Hotel Transylvannia, Peter Rabbit and The Smurfs.

Sports fans will find plenty to keep them happy on 7plus over summer, including the AFLW Grand Final on 3 December, the Rolex Sydney Hobart Yacht Race on Boxing Day, the Santos Tour Down Under, Magic Millions, Night Thunder Sprintcars, the Cadel Evans Great Ocean Race, the WSL Championship Tour Stop 1 from Hawaii, LIV Golf and MMA.

7plus will also present horse racing every Saturday, NFL every Monday ā€“ culminating with the

Super Bowl LVIII on 12 February next year ā€“ and NFL Armchair Experts .

The home of prestige drama and premium content across all genres, 7plus has streamed 14.2 billion minutes this year and increased its audience 21% year-on-year in BVOD and 22% in live streaming.

Sevenā€™s Director of Content Scheduling, Brook Hall, said: ā€œItā€™s going to be an exciting summer on 7plus, with great new and exclusive drama and reality series and an incredible and diverse line-up of sport

ā€œItā€™s been a big year for 7plus and we canā€™t wait to rollout our summer schedule. More than 70% of the content on 7plus is exclusive to it and almost 60% of all viewing coming from non- broadcast programming ā€“ with all content accessible to Australians for free.ā€

The entertainment content on 7plus includes premium, first-run content from the biggest and best studios in the world, including NBCUniversal, Disney, Fox, Sony Pictures, ITV Studios and many more. 7plus also includes more than 50 FAST channels.

Live streaming is booming on 7plus, driven this year by content including the FIFA Womenā€™s World Cupā„¢, the AFL Grand Final, the Brownlow Medal and much, much more.

Mr Hall said: ā€œ7plus is constantly breaking records. The FIFA Womenā€™s World Cupā„¢ Semi Final between the Matildas and England on 16 August this year had 957,000 viewers on 7plus, shattering the record for the most streamed event ever in Australia. The AFL Grand Final on 30 September had 441,000 viewers on 7plus, which was the biggest ever audience for an AFL match on a streaming platform.ā€

Sevenā€™s Network Digital Sales Director, Rachel Page, said: ā€œ7plusā€™ live streaming will soar next year, with full digital rights to the AFL kicking in from September next year. The following month cricket arrives on 7plus, making it the first time Australiaā€™s biggest winter and summer sports have been made available to stream for free to Australians.

ā€œTogether, the AFL and cricket will represent four billion new minutes of viewing on 7plus a year. That is the equivalent in minutes of the Olympic Games Tokyo 2020 and FIFA Womenā€™s World Cupā„¢ combined ā€“ not 17 days or five weeks but 52 weeks of the year, every year. Itā€™s a whole new ball game, for Seven, for sport fans and for our commercial partners.ā€

60% of all viewing coming from non-broadcast televisionā€¦ thatā€™s pretty good I imagine! Sounds like 7plus is becoming much more than just a ā€œcatch upā€ or ā€œon the goā€ service.

Then they should invest more money into the platform. When the public broadcasterā€™s app is easier to use than your own thatā€™s a big problem.

What about it is hard to use? I access on my phone or smart tv and have no issueā€¦ :man_shrugging:

When are these services (7plus, 9Now and 10Play) going to offer a fee for ad free?? Itā€™s time now.

Iā€™d happily pay to skip ads. Iā€™m watching My Kitchen Rules and thereā€™s just so many ads. Itā€™s taking 100 minutes to watch an episode. Itā€™s so annoying.

Same with Love Island US and UK on 9Now. Iā€™d happily pay to watch without ads.

Please guys!
