Can now see the channel in the list for 7QLD.
On the Sunshine Coast the channel LCN is set incorrectly at the moment to 74 rather than 64 to match the rest of Sevenâs channels. Similar thing happened when 7Flix started. So people that retune in the northern area away from Brisbane will end up with channels 2xx, 3xx, 5xx, 6xx, 8xx and a lone 74.
Is it only Bald Knob that uses 6x as the LCN range for 7QLD?
Or does Dulong, Tewantin, Black Mt etc use 6x too despite BTQ Brisbane not being transmitted from there?
Static screen for 7Food logo on Channel 74 this morning. Apologises, I do have have a capture card to take a picture of it.
Sorry if this has already been mentioned, but can it be assumed this channel will stream online like the others ?
Yeah. Nah.
SBS Food is where it is at.
Promos are so much more polished, and so much no where near as tacky. Yuck.

Will probably end up with MKR repeats on all day on some days.
SBS Food Network was great until they started playing large blocks of that fake garbage Mystery Diners (which is not a food show at all) several times a day. Hope that doesnât occur on this channel.
Get in there son! ![]()
The whole issue was SBS even starting a food channel - even if it gave us the wonders of Mystery Diners.
Quite frankly, SBS should give up having a food channel, turn it over to community TV. Sydney could have TVS back!
This channel looks boring as all get out, but might actually be popular, even in younger audiences, knowing the popularity of food and lifestyle like MKR and BH&G.
Of course weâll just have to wait and see what happens, but personally I 'm not sure if Australia will have two food-based channels on free to air television for overly long.
I agree on both points but as far as community TV is concerned, unfortunately I think that ship may have sailed. TVS was a reasonably professional operation, but only being available via one terrestrial transmitter (yes, Gore Hill is one of the main transmitters but the other Sydney TV stations are available via seven translator sites - TVS was not) mustâve been a killer for them.
7foodnetwork placeholder on 74 in Regional QLD is currently squished into 4:3
While I am in full support of community TV, if TVS hadnât caved as quickly as its interstate equivalents it would still be on air.
74 on air in Adelaide with the static logo as well.
MPEG4
Yes, inckuding the word ânetworkâ seems unnecessary.
I was thinking of other names for it
7EAT
7COOK
7YUM
As previously mentioned, itâs likely 7 had no control over the name by picking up the Food Network content and having to continue with the channel name the same as what SBS had also.
Any chance of Bar Rescue appearing on this channel?
