Is Rob leaving, or just no longer doing the Classic Breakfast? I don’t recall hearing anything about a new co-host, and I listen to 6iX every day at work! 
But Clairsy was with 96FM within 3 months of leaving Mix94.5…

Rob hasn’t been on the show for quite a few months! I don’t think there was an announcements, he just suddenly disappeared and was removed from website etc.

But I reckon there’s probably a bit more prestige being at a station that is more independent and has a proper heritage call sign… SCA stations don’t exactly scream prestige to me.
But on air the call signs almost look the same… he’ll have to be careful not to say “Mix I-X” or something on air.

Not sure that there would be much prestige in quitting a high rating FM breakfast shift to go to an AM cellar-dweller? Would come with a hefty pay cut too, I guess.

He was getting barely any air time on Mix anymore. Lucky if he got 30mins in the whole show. They got him doing a song for the show each day. It felt like he was leaving the station for quite some time and lots of listeners noticed, mentioning it on socials.

First person I thought when I saw the hair was Johnny Young. But I reckon it’s Liam Bartlett.
Someone on Instagram thinks it’s Liam Bartlett which is a possibility. Could also be Craig ‘Westo’ Weston who is leaving Triple M Perth this month. Guess we will see Monday!

Would have to wonder what’s going on at Subiaco for these high profile departures. Craig Weston a long time employee especially. The pay wouldn’t be great at 6IX, perhaps the stress is promised to be far less?

40 years on WA radio for Mike Parry. Currently on 6iX, Mike was the guy who launched Coast FM Mandurah with fellow radio legends Gordon O’Byrne, Gareth Cockerel and breakfast duo JJ and the Great Man (Justin James and Grayton Hardeman).

Mike Parry has done well on the anti aging, perhaps a healthy lifestyle and not getting sunburnt? Or perhaps a great hairdresser and Botox?
