Just curious when did 6ix remove the”1080” from there call sign
From memory, the “1080” was removed from its main logo back in 2005, when the station switched on its FM translators at Wanneroo & Rockingham. Its on-air IDs around the time went “1080AM, 10-57 FM, 6iX” when I listened to the station during my trip to Perth in December 2005.

Appears Ian “Blackers” Blackley is no longer at 6IX, page has been deleted and all references to him gone. Maybe he will be Michelle’s replacement on Triple M Perth’s The Rush Hour.

I think it’s too early for Matt to go elsewhere. There would be a non-compete clause in his contract (usually 6 months, I think). So if he was going to 6ix, it likely wouldn’t be until next year.
