I can’t see Antony Green nominated for the Gold. But perhaps as Best News/Current Affairs Presenter? That is a new award that started last year.
I can see Kitty Flanagan, Lynne McGranger, Natalie Barr and Sam Pang up for the Gold.

Yes, I’m sure there are many more worthy Hall of Fame inductees than the guy who is very briefly on television to analyse elections.
One of the big three long running actors from Neighbours for example: Stefan Denis, Jackie Woodburne and Alan Fletcher. Or maybe all three.

Perhaps Ian Smith? Aside of his time on Neighbours he’s done a lot of work behind the scenes, such as a writer for various shows.
It’s tricky trying to predict some of the nominations in certain categories, since we don’t vote for the nominees anymore (as an “expert panel” decide them). When the public used to vote for the public awards, we were able to see a whole list of candidates. Now, we see nothing apart for the 6 cast (or shows) that get nominated.
Tricky for the acting awards for example. Last year, quite a few cast from streaming sites were nominated, and no Home and Away or Neighbours were listed. Anyone know any new talent from the last year?

The Australian is reporting “the man charged with piecing together the annual seating jigsaw” at The Logies “has decided to part ways with the Logies after 18 years”.
The famously fair seating director fired off an email to some of the country’s most popular personalities late last week explaining his departure." and saying: “Some of you may have an understanding as to the reasons behind this decision but I wanted to take this opportunity to thank you all for the support, friendship and love I’ve experienced over many years.
He then rattled off a list of people he wanted to personally acknowledge from the ABC, Nine, Ten, Foxtel and SBS, as well as event management outfits Rizer and HotHouse.
In fact, everywhere, you might note, except Seven and the production company behind the Logies, Fourth Wall.
The paper reported that Seven " has increasingly placed pressure on the awards night’s producers to seat their own stable of stars front and centre for the cameras."
Typical pettiness from seven. The level of immaturity from them is pathetic.

It looks like tge betting agency does not like Aussie Drama. Noone from Home and Away, Neighbours or The Newsreader. But the rest of the Gold Logies odds seems about right.
Also, apart from Fisk and Colin from Accoubts, were there any other conedies airing in thr “voting period”. Otherwise, some bare pickings in the Lead Actor in a Comedy and Lead Actress in a Comedy categories.

Note: Season One of Strife was there for the last Logies, as Asher Keddie was nominated for the Gold for her role in this, but surprisingly, not for the Lead Actress in a Comedy. Season Two just began, so will be there at next years Logies
