You forgot Larry!

The above list of potential candidates for the Gold looks good. Which star will Seven push hard for the win this time around? Lol.

It would be nice to see The Newsreader’s Sam Reid up for the Gold - as his character was seen winning the 1989 Gold Logie in a recent episode.

Will Home and Away and Neighbours have more nominations this time around?

Any ideas of when the Logies will be held?

This would now have to be a serious possibility, given TP’s popularity and success plus his rival won it last year (albeit TMS and his career as well)

The show is popular but is he as popular as other TV personalities? It took Larry decades to win the Gold.

It’s up to the networks to put forward 5 candidates for the Gold Logie these days. No harm in Nine putting up Todd Woodbridge in contention. He had a successful year with Tipping Point, and was the face for the Tennis (and hosted Cross Court). It’s up to the “industry” if he is then nominated.

It would be nice if Johanna Griggs is up for the Gold or Best Presenter.

Who do we think are likely to be the final candidates?

Some potential Hall of Fame Nominees?

Maggie Tabberer
Denise Drysdale
Daryl Somers
Working Dog
Jana Wendt
Sandra Sully
Jane Turner and Gina Riley

Is the eligibility period still from 1 April until 31 March? If so, I wonder if nominations come out soon? The Awards Ceremony should be back to June or July, which happened in 2022 and 2023 respectively, as it was in August last year due to the Olympics.

The true public awards should be: Gold Logie, Most Popular Actor, Actress, Presenter and Drama Series (which includes mini-series). The rest, including New Talent, preferably be Outstanding. But cant seeing it happening, so be a combination of “best” like last year.

Not a fan of the public voting for the News Coverage Report, Best Best Sports Coverage, and Children’s Program.

Best Entertainment Program shouldn’t have specials there like last year (ABC’s NYE Coverage and the Carols by Candlelight), or The Yearly with Charlie Pickering up for Comedy Entertainment. Have an “Entertainment Special” category for these once offs if they need too. I also don’t understand why The Voice and Australian Idol get put forward for Best Entertainment Program, when they are clearly Reality Shows. with a winner announced and a prizemoney being won by contestants.

Surely Drysdale is the HOF →

Surely we can fit a few more men in first

I wouldn’t mind Kitty Flanagan for Gold.

Given the global success of Fisk on Netflix she’s well deserving. Fisk has aldo performed extraordinarily well for ABc

Kitty is popular, and won several Logies already - Most Popular Actress twice for Fisk, and Best Lead Comedy Actress for Utopia. If she does get nominated, she has a big chance of winning it out.

Just wondering which star with a long career Seven will push this time around? Like the last two years. Natt Barr? Johanna Griggs? Or Lynne McGranger, long time on H&A, and end her career on a high?

Lynne would be great

Lynne for Hall of Fame

********Stefan Dennis, Jackie Woodburne/Alan Fletcher because Neighbours is probably ending this year but channel 10 don’t care about it and Neighbours haven’t won a Logie Awards since Natalie Blair in 2006 shame it had a lot of excellent performances since 2006 but Home and Away and other shows get them. Neighbours might as well be a British show it wins their awards?

Would think Ian Smith has a good chance
