That ad is simply just a “light-hearted” (aka “cheesy”) ad promoting the Logies.
Also in that ad, they mention that the Logies will be LIVE, something unheard for Seven in some time, given their track history with “event tv” which has been on delay in recent times… Also mentioned that Sonia and Chris will be hosting the Red-Carpet event again.

You would think so, given the closing time for the Gold Logie voting (10.30pm AEST).
The real question is, will it be LIVE across the country? That will mean the Logies will be live in SA and NT at 6.30pm local time, and in WA at 5.30pm local time, right after the AFL match between West Coast and Carlton.
