Strongly disagree.
He may have deserved an award for Molly for the reasons you detailed, but not a gold Logie.
He was more omnipresent on tv in previous years just doing voice overs for advertisements than a few hours in a mini series.

That Gold Logie list definitely seems to be missing the mark for the second year in a row. Having the networks contribute and position their preferred talent doesnât seem to make this category any better.
If Hamish wins again - he is favourite - than this thing is dead in the water.
I agree that the Gold Logie list seems to be missing that special mark again. I know that the Australian tv landscape has changed in recent years, and just maybe, we donât have a few big name stars on our screens at the one time like how we used to.
Having no ongoing big dramas doesnât help either. In the past, weâve had shows like Blue Heelers, All Saints and Packed to the Rafters and some of their cast constantly being nominated (and some winning) for the Gold.
Shaun Micallef was huge a decade ago. Not so much recently. Oddly though, he is up for Mad As Hell, but his âBrain Eisteddfodâ is omitted, considering other stars have multiple shows listed.
On a side note, Sunrise and Today arenât even nominated for the Most Popular Current Affairs Program. Ouch.
Probably because the ratings for Brain Eisteddfod were so low that not many viewrs saw it.
I think the obvious omissions from the Gold Logie category were the people who left the networks like Carrie Bickmore and Dr Chris Brown and I believe itâs because they left Ten so their names werenât submitted.
She was never a contestant on Love Island Australia, she was the co-host of the Love Island side show. She was the second voted off Big Brother in 2021 thoughâŚ
It was given an exemption, along with Selling Houses Australia.
Maybe Ten didnât submit that for consideration, or maybe they did and the judges decided it wasnât notable enough.
They better hope thereâs no mix up like the time wrong winner was announced on Next Top Model or the time the wrong contestant was eliminated on Big Brother and she had to go back in a few days later.
This is such a load of bull. Why have rules if youâre just going to bend them.
Julia shouldnât be up for the gold. Her work on Taskmasters is laughable - and IAC isnât actually eligible.
The panels need a shakeup. The best actress and actor awards donât include the best of their category⌠itâs more a longevity award.
Who do you think should have been nominated for the âMost Outstandingâ awards?
As part of the collaboration, KIIS 1065âs Kyle & Jackie O will capture the lead up to the awards as they interview some celebrity nominees. As the night gets underway, Intern Pete will be reporting live from the red carpet, before taking listeners behind the scenes as he interviews the winners in the media room. The following day, all the best interviews and content will be re-capped on air and online.
Also on the red carpet will be Mitch Churi from The Night Show and Driveâs Will & Woody.
Listeners will have the chance to âBe A Star for The Nightâ via a national competition across the KIIS Network and syndicated regional stations, supported by iHeartRadio. One winner and a friend will attend a VIP Red Carpet experience and attend the Awards Ceremony.
One good thing is that the âPopular Australian Actor in an International Seriesâ award was cut. That award isnt needed.
With the changes in Drama on pur screens, i noticed that the Outstanding Drama and the Outstanding Mini Series awards were combined this time around.
Having two Reality Awards (popular and outstanding) is one too many.
Dr Chris Brownâs first role for Seven will be interviewing guests at the Logie Awards red carpet.
Good choice. He should be fun.
I just realise that the night of the Logie Awards (July 30) is also the fourth dayâs play in the fifth and final Ashes test in London. If the series winner has not been decided by then, I reckon the cricket will dilute the ratings of the Logies, something Seven will be worried about.
Last year, Nineâs telecast averaged 828,000 for the red carpet arrivals and 852,000 for the ceremony itself.
Seven just aired a promo for the upcoming Logies - mentioning that Sam Pang is host. He was testing out his suit, with Ray Meagher being his tailor. It was flamingâŚ
(this promo aired in Sydney at approx 10pm during The Front Bar)
Are the Logies audience and the Cricket audience one and the same?
