It’s always been the case in the entire history of The Logiess that the most popular awards go to the shows that get voted for the most - whether by coupon, phone in, or now on-line.
Some shows have passionate viewers who appreciate the shows they watch and vote for them while others have passive viewers that don’t.

But the people more inclined to vote would watch the project. Also the project has popularity within the zeitgeist as well as social impressions and their personalities appearing cross platforms.
It’s been said the show is worth more to 10 than just the overnight rating figures.

Yes the dire state of childrens tv laid bare by the fact ABC had the only nominations with 10/Netflix only 1. Seven and nine have done fuck all.
On another note… how long until one of the commercial networks sign up Tony Armstrong? He’s probably primed for bigger things than the ABC can offer.

No doubt The Project has been making their studio audience pull out their phones and vote for them for the past six months.
Studio audiences only returned a few weeks ago… 
I do think it’s ridiculous that the Front Bar was in the category. You shouldn’t really combine Current Affairs and Panel show? Such a bad category mix
