62nd TV Week Logie Awards 2021-22

Agree - feel like the differentiation between the two needs to be much clearer so that casual viewers know which awards were decided by a panel and which ones were decided by voters.

Really good speech by Patti Newton about Bert.

Shows what a joke Sonia is … presenting a million shows on seven. She isn’t even that good.

Hamish speaking well.

Really brave of Patti to do it as well, good to see the respect and the kindness in the room as well.

A touching tribute to Bert, and presented nicely by Patti.

Hamish doing a good acceptance speech.

I would say it more makes Seven look like a joke. No talent stable and cost cutting. I do wonder when Sonia will burn out to be honest, it’s a big workload and only so long can people push themselves

That was a really classy speech by Hamish.

Yeah. It seems odd. It’s like they’re trying to be politically correct and not make it about the “most”.

Kitty!!

MIA - Sam might be back if The Front Bar wins!

It’s 2022… surely it wouldn’t be a hard thing to send a thank you video to be played if you aren’t going to show up to the Ceremony…

Was a bit disappointed in Kittys lack of it

Sam Pang - another great acceptance speech - making the speech on behalf of Kitty Flannagan who won Most Popular Actress.

Sadly Sam can’t make another acceptance speech for The Front Bar.

Good to see the Project win.

The Project wins Most Popular Panel or Current Affairs :man_shrugging:. The ratings would disagree :joy:

She might present all those shows but she’s very average on most of them and nothing outstanding about her that is memorable. I can think of many good presenters on Seven and Nine and 10 who are more worthy and she gets nominated.

So The Project isn’t getting the axe??
So much for being low rated.

Ratings =/= Awards and popularity.

Just look at MAFS. Highest rating reality but no award for the show itself. Serves them right.

Not sure many people would get “home of ugly Dave grey” reference. Hilarious but most of the audience would have no idea.

Is this the first year we don’t see the Logie statue as part of the on air presentation and set ?

I just realised it’s nowhere to be seen…

That’s pretty unfair.
