To be fair last year was when COVID was still something that was massively obstructive. Didn’t help that Japan was in a massive wave and understandably I think none of the local networks would’ve risked it (the Americans are obviously different). If it was this year and they pulled that then they don’t even deserve to be nominated.
Thank goodness Hamish wasn’t doing the speech. Much better to see Lewis Martin (?) or whoever it was doing it with class and humility.
Geez, the optics of the Gold Coast promotional bit before the ad break just now (with all the Gold Logie nominees ‘partying’ bar Melissa Leong being left out) was terrible.
I wonder if the casual viewer understands the difference between Most Popular and Outstanding. Those 2 reality series awards were pretty close together and featured some of the same programs.
Agree - feel like the differentiation between the two needs to be much clearer so that casual viewers know which awards were decided by a panel and which ones were decided by voters.

I would say it more makes Seven look like a joke. No talent stable and cost cutting. I do wonder when Sonia will burn out to be honest, it’s a big workload and only so long can people push themselves

. The ratings would disagree 
She might present all those shows but she’s very average on most of them and nothing outstanding about her that is memorable. I can think of many good presenters on Seven and Nine and 10 who are more worthy and she gets nominated.
So The Project isn’t getting the axe??

Just look at MAFS. Highest rating reality but no award for the show itself. Serves them right.
