@Leo_Puglisi6 Congrats on last night’s broadcast - didn’t watch the full thing, but other than a few audio issues, it was definitely polished!
Would appreciate some feedback on our election coverage that’ll help shape our reporting going forward! Link in this article:
Looking forward to this @Leo_Puglisi6! ![]()
…but it’s Master Bedroom reveal night on The Block!
Spoiler: Coming soon to channel 17.
And what was the mega can’t miss, major announcement? ![]()
lol riiiiiight.
This isn’t a “do not miss” huge announcement worthy.
Not a surprise considering how much effort seems to be focused by members of the 6 News team in trying to get as much attention as possible on AusPol Twitter ever since the federal election - in fact surprised they hadn’t taken this route any earlier.
So…They want to be like Sky news?
No, because most of Sky After Dark involves opinion from hosts
This is about getting the news out, then speaking to two guests, all in the one program
@Leo_Puglisi6 Good coverage on your YT today, just however wish the end screen was silent instead of the usual tune for the end screen - was a little jarring after the UK anthem to be honest.
Cheers, if we had an extra 20 minutes of production/editing time I’m sure changes would’ve been made but it was a total rush to get that 9am bulletin oit
Right. I was at a bit of a loss when I stumbled across, not only this account, but the videos it was sharing today.
i dont see a point to create a page that reposts TikTok videos on Twitter? The 6 News is no longer a news brand if you’re creating pages that don’t relate to news. Makes it unprofessional if you ever want to invest in it in the future
Maybe it’s because I’m younger and can resonate with TikTok, but I think it’s a great idea, it speaks directly to the 6 news audience who I assume skew younger overall? And it seems the account has a strong following after only a few months.
Well done @Leo_Puglisi6 for understanding your audience - keep up at it and keep experimenting, it’s a great skill to have!
Not surprised considering the direction observed this year with the ever increasing interaction with AusPol twitter, however per the above it’s more relevant / going to get more eyeballs than a weekly linear style news bulletin that just gets a few thousand views on YouTube.
I don’t see a problem with it. Not everyone is on TikTok and it gives them an opportunity to follow for those videos if they so choose. It’s not on 6 News’ primary feed which is wise so if people want 6 News content they don’t have to be clobbered with TikTok videos.
Really? It’s 2022 being on Tiktok is the best thing you can do these days if you want to grow any brand.
