Doubt that’s required, they’re pooling footage they have access to from other sources.
Praying for @Leo_Puglisi6’s twitter mentions. Bloody hell. Covid has given people serious brainworms over the past two years.
Oh the irony!
So in an attempt to counter disinformation, bullying and conspricay theories, you chose to appear on The Bolt Report? Wow.
Compared to some of the brain dead, downright vile, nasty, pathetic cretins that have taken over Twitter, Andrew Bolt is a saint (and that’s saying something).
They claim to be left wing beacons of tolerant values yet they are the most intolerant of anyone whenever something doesn’t align exactly with their worldview.
@Leo_Puglisi6 you have already done more in your young life than many of us could achieve in a lifetime, as hard as it can be, try to ignore those fools, they are sad, pathetic, miserable keyboard warriors and not worth anyone’s time or attention.
I thought the option of appearing on Bolt & Sky was also interesting.
It is disgusting but lets face it these people are pathetic and just as useless as a cat swinging from a toilet seat.
Leo, deserves respect, and sure he can take the criticisms, and thats part of the learning, but the bullying he recieved and some of angst comments I see from certain forum members on here, is disgusting. (Not saying you, I think the mods have been rather helpful with Leo,) but there are some people where who are just plain rude and mean.
Fair dinkum, pull ya head in. How am.i a disgusting idiot? All I’m doing is questioning his unusual choice.
This comment from you is exactly the sort of bullshit Leo has been subjected to, exactly the sort of nonsense Bolt supports.
The choice of appearing on there is very interesting to someone who has been keenly following Leo and his team over the last couple of years and been shocked at what is going on currently.
Okay I admit i took my personal attack on you too far and I do apologise. But I just don’t see how you can criticize his decision. Leo has every right to appear on any news organisation that he chooses to. So what if it is Andrew Bolt? I am not saying that Bolt is a perfect angel, I just feel that sometimes the irony is that people don’t want certain people to go on certain shows based on political beliefs? This is not just on one side, this is on both sides. It does not seem unusual to me, but I rather question why you think his decision and his alone is unusual?
It’s hypocritical. Bolt’s programme isn’t news, it’s opinion. I’m not for one moment excusing the behaviour of the twisted left on twitter, but we find ourselves at this point of the culture wars because of people like Bolt and his followers, promoting disinformation, untruths, conspiracy theories and online bullying campaigns. The man is intent on causing division, hate and pile-ons to those he disagrees with - Bruce Pascoe, Louise Mulligan, Lucy Morris-Marr, Pat Eatock, victims of child sexual abuse, Greta Thunberg, Jelena Popovic to name but a few people who’ve been on the receiving end of Bolt’s manipulation of his audience.
I stand by my previous remark that Leo’s choice to appear with Bolt appears unusual at best.
Apologies for the premature post.
Okay fair enough. I understand what you are trying to convey.
Gonna aderess a few points
- Bolt’s choice of framing re “the left” was his & his only
- Sky’s choice of lower thirds was theirs & theirs only - I only had an audio feed so couldn’t even see them until after the interview
- I’ve called out Sky & its hosts before, including when our footage was used without credit
- Bolt’s team asked to have me on, I didn’t approach them
- It was not an endorsement of Bolt’s views
An interesting move Leo that I fear will only act to reinforce in the mind of the twitter drips that you’re some kind of plant.
I disagree with @bacco007. Good work @Leo_Puglisi6 and don’t resile from your own decisions.
Nope they’re restreaming. Simple as that. A livestream had ABC logo on it for a while a few weeks ago. Video went black, YouTube annotations obviously turned off, and it reappeared logo free.
I see your point. Again this is why I bought up them;lint that some people (not just on here) don’t like it when people go on particular news shows or opinion shows because they have a personal detests for a particular person. This happens on both sides of the left and right. It’s a sha,e though because I thought Leo did a good job ans spoke about an issue that does not affect just him. He indeed was telling his own experience.
Leo does not have to justify why he appeared on Bolt. Whether he was asked by them personally. Just a shame some people on here are a bit cruel. Remember he is young so he’s still learning, but some people should learn that he is own person and doesn’t need to follow Their ideology.
I’m reading all the posts here about his appearance on Sky and I can’t for the life of me see anything inappropriate. I’m confused with these defensive responses.
Would be happy to go on any of those outlets (although I’ve been on some before) but Sky was the only one that reached out
