I think the background music is fine in my opinion. It’s fairly common for short Facebook clips for example to have backing music accompanying the captions. The audio has also been balanced well to not overlap the source material.
I think the format is nice @Leo_Puglisi6! You could also adapt it to work on other platforms by changing the aspect ratio to 9:16 or 1:1 whichever is better.

Was anything else needed? This person linked the guy actions with Trump without any music or added graphics.

Is there any possibility of you covering the situation in Tigray, Ethiopia?
Are you using different audio equipment this week? Just seems quite choppy volume wise.
Do you normalise the volume during production? This reduces the higher volume levels so it only ever reaches a set level and won’t go any higher.
Different headphones when editing may be the issue - only some cheap earbuds so I couldn’t hear it that I well. We’re working on getting an improved audio system.
Audacity software should be able to do it and it’s free. It will make a big difference if your video editing software can’t do it easily then add as a audio track. Keep up the good work.

Yes Audacity is a great software. I recently got a Rode Mic for my voiceover/ radio work and the finished result is 100

I prefer Audition maybe because I have been using it since before Adobe brought it when it was called Cool Edit Pro. Just seems to be a more polished product.
I think you may have missed the main problem with the video. It’s not the cream in the face, it’s that it fails to address the point it is trying to make.
Well one is a $30 p/month subscription and the other is free with an optional donation to the creators.

True and Audacity has improved a lot in recent years. When you pay for Adobe Cloud which also includes Photoshop and Premiere it’s not bad price wise
