Correct. The domain wasn’t registered by WIX, it was done by a seperate company. Give it a few weeks & the bugs should be ironed out.

Wow! Two years? And to think I only found out about 6 News from the 1 News interview they did a while back during the whole Facebook crisis.

The microphone apparently broke down and the back-up newsreader in the other city was standing by ready to takeover. Do other networks have a stand by newsreader in another studio?

I get that it was ‘funny’, but couldn’t you just fix your mic @Leo_Puglisi6? Because we know it is pre-recorded.
You don’t even know what the problem with the microphone was. At least we got a new bulletin.
What? The news is literally a week old.
So? Does that matter? All I’m saying is it’s not live, and judging by the ‘mic audio’ the thing was staged, so surely he could have just refilmed?

That audio issue was 100% real - and because of a family trip (I’m in Gippsland right now) there was no time to re-film everything, just the live crosses & a few stories. There was a 4 hour window from when I found the mic issue & before I could re-film, so I thought Connor could do some stories as I had nothing else to do.

Besides, these days we aren’t really a weekly news wrap-up (sure, we release new bulletins weekly but that’s for practical reasons - plus we have other ways of releasing up-to-date news)
Think of our coverage of the US or WA Election - that was all covered on the day/day after it happened.
