Wouldn’t OzTam take the step of estimating (i.e.) many watching programs on mobile devices?
It would not be unheard of to just declare the night’s result in Adelaide voided due to the weather event but it depends to what extent it affected viewing across the night or if it affected their collection of the night’s data.
I didn’t expect power to be restored so quickly to parts of Adelaide. But I still think the viewing figures will be affected in the city.
No, they are not set up to do that. The only things that are monitored are TV broadcasts, PVR recording and catch up services.

Especially if Melb Storm belt them.
The only way ratings will be okay, is if Sharks do win & more so if it’s a close game.
NRL Grand Final, Cronulla vs Melbourne: 2.49 Million (Sydney: 1.2million, Melbourne: 450k, Brisbane: 650k, Adelaide: 80k, Perth: 110k).
Post-match presentation ratings will depend on whether it’s the Storm or the Sharks that pick up the trophy.
