What about states that donā€™t have Today Tonight? (which I canā€™t see in your schedule anyhow).

I would suggest Today Tonight return in some format in QLD/Vic/NSW, whether it be local editions or an east coast edition

Also I would change mornings on 7Two as follows

Monday To Friday
8:30am NBC Today
11:00am Infomercials
12pm normal programming

Weekends
11:00am Infomercials
12:00pm normal programming

Really? Day old content which the entire 4:30pm audience has probably already seen the night before?

Given the time of night, maybe they have, maybe they havenā€™t. Alternatively the 4:30pm edition could be the first run and the encore screening late at night

Your schedule looks like a bit of a nightmareā€¦ what about when daylight savings start/end in each regionā€¦ the start of ā€œliveā€ programming could be an hour before, at standard time or 1 hour after standard time

No time zone delay.

In another dream for another thread Iā€™d do like China and have one time zone for all of Australia

What I am saying, say if you are streaming live from the US and it is daylight saving in the US, then it would screening 1 hour earlier eg your 11:00am Live fast-tracking US Primetime would be airing 1 hour earlier at 10am, then if its daylight saving in Australia, it would be airing at 12pm (assuming you plan to screen the shows and same timeslots as the US)

No 24 hour TV?

Every commercial channel does that these daysā€¦

Correct. In a few weeks US primetime will be 12pm-3pm. Naomi Robson can move to 11am.

Iā€™m full of surprises

In another dream, iā€™d start primetime at 6pm with the strongest/ highest rated programs and go directly head on with Seven / Nine News . Masterchef circa 2010 at 6pm wouldā€™ve done some serious damage to Seven/Nine News.

The first post said dream TV channel. And thatā€™s what I want on my dream TV channel. :slightly_smiling_face:

Plus some articles had rumours of Ten doing the exact same thing. So not entirely out of the realms of possibility.

  • Impregnation - The Artificial Edition - giving a cow a needleā€¦fun
  • Birthing A Cow - Iā€™ve seen this, itā€™s fairly icky
  • What Happens When You Give Away Too Much Money - a trip to the slaughter house for the Cash Cow
  • How To Slaughter Your Own Cow - Iā€™ve done thisā€¦itā€™s fairly icky.

For a Breakfast Show, what about:

The Moo-day Show

Or a couple of moo-vies such as:

Moo-lighting

Or A News Program:

Nine News Cow

I donā€™t know if this has been suggested before, but I think Nine should have a sports multi-channel. They already have a strong brand with WWOS and this might allow the network to secure more sporting deals, including the Olympics. It would be a commercial version of Fox Sport.
Obviously, though, with the high rating sport such as the Friday night NRL would air on both this new channel and the main 9 one.

Regional Queensland used to get Today Tonight at 5pm, IIRC, during the Matt White era. This was because the local news pushed the state 6pm news to 6.30. Canā€™t remember if it was from the night before or only in daylight savings, so it was live into QLD.

I think the cost of a sport channel wouldnā€™t justify the returns.

Canā€™t have been live at 5pm so must have been from the day before (which is fine if it was first-run, it was the idea of an ā€œencoreā€ which didnā€™t make sense to me).
