Bruce Roberts presenting weather in Canberra today. Unrelated, but WIN News is finishing for the year on 19 December 2025.

Is there a reason WIN finishes after the regional noodles? Don’t they all finish on Dec 12 the noodles? Why does WIN go longer?

I assume they’re classed the same as they are both regional newscasts

Once upon a time I remember WIN News running throughout the Christmas/New Year period, although as a statewide bulletin. So they have traditionally continued though the summer while Prime and SC10 had packed up for the year.

Are they going to do state bulletins in the final few days? I vaguely remember that happening last year.

Win news is on a break at least for this week

Me and my family appeared on WIN News Central West last night, participating in the annual Parkes Elvis Festival street parade. I am sitting next to my dad, wearing matching hats.

This is good of them but the audio is out of sync making it hard to watch. Maybe if they’d dropped the pretence of it actually being live and just uploaded the bulletin at air time it might have synced properly?
