Jared Constable presenting in Canberra tonight.

Same as the last few weeks.

Surprised the money is there to do this on a public holiday, would have expected nothing frankly.

Soo does anyone know what’s going on with the noodle updates for NNSW? Is WIN still airing them or has 10 taken over? A lot of takeover/merger talk the last few months - hard to keep up :upside_down_face:

WIN continues to produce the updates in the interim.

For now, SCA are still making updates for RQLD, SNSW and RVIC. WIN are doing the same for NNSW, plus managing playout. The sale on all have closed and 10 are the official owners.

Whether that change speeds up with Seven’s pending takeover of SCA Seven’s stations and studios in June, is unclear.

WIN News Illawarra just an extremely awkward segment on SOO. It was done by Jared Constable. He was nodding and smiling before he started talking, he then stopped again and nodded while i assume footage was meant to be played but it didn’t. It was an odd segment.

Yeah it was a pre-recorded interview, but they completely forgot to include the footage from the person being interviewed. Like you said, it was very awkward.

Omg that’s embarrassing. Wasn’t even what Bruce introduced either :man_facepalming:t2:

Ironically, the first words in the Jared Constable clip are “A rare slip-up…” :stuck_out_tongue:

Seems like a big slip-up to put that to air!

Another glitch surfaced tonight: a “hold slide,” complete with accompanying music, WIN News [Region] branding and a logo from the network’s former Ten affiliation, mistakenly aired before the proper bulletin opener in Victoria.
