Along with Bendigo and Shepparton. This also means Amy Duggan is now presenting seven bulletins out of Wollongong. I really do hope that when all have transferred to Gong that WIN will have another sport presenter for the Victoria bulletins. Having one do nine bulletins a day is ridiculous, not to mention how early pre-record would have to start.
It wouldnât be that much work for her to do. I mean half hour bulletin, so a 22 minute show, maybe 8 minutes of sport? then itâs just her reading 15 second intros.

I prefer the audio and picture from the Ballarat equipment, the vision from up north is dark and the sound somewhat muffled.
I wonder if WIN News will remain in SD even though WIN HD will start tomorrow?
It sounds like thereâs a good chance the studio based reads out of Wollongong will be HD, but my guess is everything else from everywhere else will be upscaled SD.

All studios have the same HD ready automated cameras and controls rooms etc. It was streamlined from back in 2007 to 2009. So if Wollongong is HD, then I canât see any reason why Maroochydore and Hobart wonât be.
Hannah McEwanâs final bulletin was on Friday night, sheâs now on maternity leave. Corinne May is presenting in QLD and ACT, Georgia Love reading the weather from the desk in Tasmania.
If you ask me, WIN should get a separate weather presenter for the Southern NSW/ACT and perhaps Victorian bulletins and leave Hannah McEwan/Corinne May to cover Queensland. Thoughts?
More cost effective to have one presenter doing the lot.
The Western Victoria bulletin is still coming from Ballarat with Alexia and Wes.
SA updates still coming from Ballarat, although last Fridayâs update came from Wollongong with Bruce Roberts. This is the second time it has come from Wollongong as far as Iâm aware.
So it appears that the nights when Wes is off, then SA updates come from Wollongong (as it would currently be skeleton staff at Ballarat, Iâd imagine).
They seemed so short staffed last Friday that they did a combined statewide weather segment for the Victorian bulletins, rather than more detailed ones for each market.

No mention of anything. Alexia didnât mention it was her final bulletin or that Bruce would return. Was like any other bulletin.
Typically of WIN to make big changes to their bulletins and not even mention it

As mentioned, the Ballarat bulletin is now coming from Wollongong with Bruce Roberts.
Interestingly though, the South Australian updates still came from Ballarat with Wes Cusworth. Wes also filed a lot of reports for the Ballarat bulletin as per usual.
