Could Butler just use that desk to read the 6:00pm news live?

When did NNSW change from three to four stories in 1-2 minutes to just one story? Seems like they’re now (somehow) caring less than SCA did.

Sometimes there is only one story, other times there is a few within. It varies.

Bruce Roberts is currently doing updates in Canberra

Not unusual. They have a rotating roster throughout the week doing the daytime NSW and VIC updates.

“Local news is next for WIN viewers”- Sandra Sully. No qualifier for those markets that don’t receive WIN local news.

What a joke, especially when only two markets (out of the ten local television markets in NSW/ACT) are seeing a WIN News bulletin after 10 News First Sydney. Might as well single out Canberra & Illawarra as markets where the local news is coming up next or not mention it at all.

its normal and legal for win to have 3 local stories and the rest just normal news??? when i watched win news tonight here in western vic, they only had 3 local stories. not to sure what 9 local news western vic had

Gonna be honest but I don’t think anyone is actually watching WIN in those axed markets now, so why bother… Most people have probably moved onto Nine or Prime.

So too does WIN Central West. Their Facebook page even has the old news anchor doing a news update… a little odd considering he said farewell to viewers last week.

Other than losing its 30mins bulletin, it’s as if nothing has changed to their Facebook presence.

IMO the news Facebook pages are a waste. Imagine if SCTen had news Facebook pages just for their pointless generic 30s daily updates?

Not a waste at all. More people
In the viewing area are probably on Facebook at any given time then tuned into WIN

One benefit of not having as many bulletins to record is that Illawarra viewers are now getting Bruce Roberts as a fill in for Geoff. He’s certainly more animated in his delivery than Geoff and has a very different sign off.

Interestingly, we had Geoff in Tasmania today (Friday the 5th)

That black door sure is fascinating.

I guess Bruce’s time acting in Home and Away came in handy for something.

I’ve heard all about it.

I do miss WIN News. In my own opinion, I thought they were starting to come ahead from behind Nine, especially after they updated all their graphics. I found the presentation a lot more watchable. Especially they had an ALMOST story appropriate graphic behind the reader, where as nine just always has their logo.
