Not sure about elsewhere but Illawarra sport has been being presented by a mix of people, Jack Mahoney and Tim Robertson(?) or Bruce.

May be a bit late to this but how long has WIN produced the hybrid Sunshine Coast & Wide Bay bulletins?
Almost 3 years - July 2021 was first noticed AFAIK.

Knew Wide Bay returned, but did not know it is an expanded Sunshine Cost edition. Donāt they have two journalists then for that edition? I am sure there is one journalist and camera operator/editor for each area.
Yes I believe so. One team based in Maroochydore and another in Hervey Bay. 7 separates their local news into two separate bulletins.

The only role available that we are aware of is Today newsreader. Unless a main 6pm presenter is leaving and not announced yet.

I donāt know why youād leave a prime time presenting gig even if itās regional to be a reporter. Sounds backwards to me.

Tom Johnson from 7 Tasmania went from a fulltime sports presenting / fill-in role to reporting for 7 Adelaide

Wants to live in Sydney and earn more money? Wants a job thatās not chained to the newsdesk reading poxy regional stories for hours and hours a day. Metro has always been a step up from regional, just how it is.
all of the southern cross presenters in SA did it at some stage, Rosanna, Will Macdonald, Selga Berzins, Tim Hatfield.
