Wide World of Sports

The set did look great. The screens were good too. I liked how they sat at the desk for most of the show, and ended the show on the sofa/couch. Something different.

I got the feeling the autocue was too far away towards the end.

Love that couch shot with the WWOS on the wall. Great set.

It does look good, but the WWOS sign looks a little cheap. I reckon that could have been done nicer.

Finally, about time they start producing stuff outside Sydney. Melbourne is perfect

It might be tricky to do it at the moment. As The AFL Footy Show airs at 10am in Melbourne. Sports Sunday is delayed into Melbourne and AFL cities.

They’d be better off airing a repeat of last week’s Sports Sunday or repeats of Malcolm In the Middle or The Nanny with AFL being an instant turn off for most Sydney viewers.

Should have got Billy Slater in and did a AFL & NRL combined show.

The game won’t grow if it isn’t put in front of ‘foreigners to footy’

Sports Sunday will not air due to ongoing technical issues.

Terrific. Can’t stand James Bracey- they use this far too much

what’s replacing sports Sunday today

It better not be The AFL Sunday Footy Show again (for Sydney and Brisbane)…

9 Sydney should air a nrl classic game Newcastle vs paramatta 2001 grand final

i hope not i will be pissed if 9 do the afl Sunday footy

Well, stop binge drinking. :stuck_out_tongue:

Sports Sunday is out of next week’s schedule.

Live from Townsville.

Good to have Sports Sunday back on our screens. This time from Townsville Stadium (home to Channel Nine’s NRL match this afternoon). Jonathan Thurston is a special guest panellist. Regulars Liz Ellis and Mark Taylor return as panellists.

edit Jonathan Thurston was there just for the first segment. Was just a guest, rather than a guest panellist. Shane Crawford was a guest (via zoom) for segment two.
