Back to the regular studio this week

The panels on the front of that desk are terrible, really need replacing or just scrap the desk altogether.

This morning, they had a “From The Vault” segment. A flashback of a story from 2010 (by Tim Sheridan) on a then young golfer - who is now a bigger name (which has sadly escaped me).

Good to have these sorts of stories from time to time.

Not often we see a press release for this show. Should be a good interview with Josh Giddey. Also goves US Correspondent Brad Blanks a bigger role than usual.

Also, I’ve been enjoying seeing tennis star John Millman on the desk in recent weeks.

Such a shame she’s leaving Nine and the Sport Department for the 6pm News and WWOS team

She’s leaving the network entirely (and the industry if rumours are to be believed), not moving to 6pm sadly.

Who was hosting this weekend?

Forgot they had Nick McArdle on their books. He is a good choice.

I guess they’ll just cycle through availabilities before probably Emma Lawrence gets the gig? They’ve got heaps of great options, if they even need an all-year host if they’ve got Tubby on most weeks.

Emma Lawrence currently hosts The Sunday NRL Footy Show - that follows Wide World Of Sports.

Nick McArdle is a good host. A potential host next year could be paralympian Ellie Cole? She has appeared as a panellist a fair bit this season, and has been great on it.
