We Interrupt This Broadcast

Agreed, and also all Seven can offer is a sketch show every decade or so. No imagination, nothing new in the world of the comedy, the same shit they’ve tried since the late 80’s.

Last minute rallying by one of the show’s stars.

How desperate! Begging for viewers.

The laugh track is disproportionate.

If they’re going to have one, maybe not so OTT

Just flicked over during Survivor break, truly worst show I’ve ever seen. Virginia Gay must be desperate for work.

It’s pretty (very) bad.

looking at Twitter, it is NOT a hit.
Watched a little bit and it’s not good.

expecting around 250-275k viewers (that might be too generous ?)

Wasn’t there a call out some time ago for audience tickets for the recording sessions? Ie - to make the laughing track? And assuming to see what was actually funny or not? If tonight’s episode was the funniest of the series, then help us out for the remainder of the series. lol.

I actually don’t hate it :anguished:

Just watched a few minutes of this, so far it is very unfunny.

Special appearance by rugby league player Ian Roberts in that SAS sketch. That’s pretty cool

According to TV Week, Georgie Parker will be special guest star on next Tuesday’s episode.

Seven + comedy =/= A hit.

Stick with dramas and realities which you are good at instead of a try hard attempt at comedy.

Burnt off on 7Flix within a fortnight?

It just feels like it’s dated, sketch comedy has moved on from referential = funny.

I feel those that might enjoy might be a bit nostalgic for previous sketch comedies, in which case referencing House of the Dragon might be the wrong direction.

Having said that, Christie Whelan Brown seems to be the standout.

Wouldn’t be surprised if that’s the case

She is very good. And i can rarely fault Virginia Gay.
