Wasn’t Fam Time meant to be a show like this ? Never made it to air …
Some of the sketches were definitely filmed in front of the live audience. I remember on the A Current Affair send-up where Eric Bana would play Ray Martin he would sometimes take questions from the audience (where other performers such as John Walker and Ross Williams would be sitting).
Fam Time is a scripted comedy series.
Sorry I was referring to We Interrupt This Broadcast
I hope 7 doesn’t pull it after 1 episode if the numbers aren’t great next week.
Credits from the first ep has a listing of programs that have NOT authorised the use of their images in the parody and satire of the show
how did u get that
It’s a cap from Seven Publicity’s preview of the show.
When Fast Forward was made, the credits didn’t have the listing of programs that have not authorised the use of their images.
I wonder why the producers of We Interrupt This Broadcast did it this time.
Maybe someone threatened legal action if they didn’t?
Or think viewers are too dumb to know what shows they are parodying?
Perhaps it’s to help viewers work out which shows they are attempting to parody
They could have been a bit more accurate in describing shows like listing MasterChef instead of MC Australia etc.
A show that adapts to my terrible sense of humour. Finally…
Finally, a topical satire taking Gardening Australia down a peg.
I wonder how many shows on the Seven Network they make fun of …
It’s listed in the credits posted above - Border Security and SAS.
That’s fantastic! It seems genuine, maybe a just in case, as it’s using Seven Studios’ long-running generic production ender (the ‘black box’ split screen - used to be red going back to around 2004), as opposed to Seven Broadcast Ops’ equally long-running end credits split screen often seen during movies (the ‘red line’). But am wondering if it is also more a wink and a nod, considering the show is satire and taking the piss

I find it strange that no one seems to be reviewing the actual show that has been available to the media for a couple of weeks. Instead all that anyone is publishing is publicity fluff. Not even a single line of opinion to close off the PR blurb.
