You’d think after 7 years they’d have a standard for top-right positioning. Classification logo was overlapping too

They normally just have the normal watermark with the live strap underneath it. Any ideas as to why they changed?

Using the same rationale, Nine should not use WWOS watermark for its tennis coverage too, because match feed is supplied by the host organisation.

I’ve essentially noticed that if it has the WWOS intro at the start of the broadcast, then it gets the WWOS watermark, while if it doesn’t then it doesn’t get the watermark.

I wonder if the watermark is in that location so it gets seen on rival network’s (aka Seven) news coverage - similar to the WWOS logo. If it was bottom right it would be less visible and partially covered by logos and captions.

The broadcast as a whole is a 9 integration.
