And this from Nine
Oh lord, both of those are awful!
Channel Ten is a lot less bad than what Channel 7 dished up today.
Adults Only 1 is a lot less bad than what Channel Ten dished up today.
thank god I had swallowed my weetbix before I read this⌠otherwise it would have been disastrous.
Watermark problems during GoggleboxâŚ
This Survivor promo watermark and 2nd Ten HD logo kept appearing and disappearing every 10 seconds or so⌠Very irritating.
Poor old Ten canât even get the logos lined up properly
Thereâs nothing wrong happening there. It is the current watermark from tonight superimposed over a recording of the watermark from the previous week made by the producers of Gogglebox. They donât exactly line up presumably because of the way that the show is recorded. Also happens on Foxtel when they show Lifestyle Channel programs on Gogglebox and can be seen on other programs like Media Watch when a recording of an ABC program is seen.
It was happening the entire first segment of the show, not just on Channel Ten programs (sorry, I should have capped that when a non Channel Ten show was on Gogglebox).
The first segment was about The Bachelor that featured the watermark with Australian Survivor. That was the only time it happened (on the broadcast that was seen in Brisbane).
I donât think it was to do with âThe Bachelorâ.
That Survivor promo logo kept appearing and disappearing with that 2nd Ten logo every few seconds. It wasnât JUST the Ten logo that kept doing that.
Thatâs because the Survivor logo was part of the recorded program The Bachelor so it popped up on screen every time they switched to the program but was not there when the lounge rooms were shown.
Ah, I thought it was the other way around (I didnât watch âThe Bachelorâ).
Thanks for clarifying.
Those WIN program promo watermarks are probably the best ones weâve seen - small enough not to be intrusive whilst getting the message across
Hot Seat promotional watermark for next week which appeared on and off during tonightâs show.

Funny how after all those years with Nine, WIN never did any type permanent promotional watermarks, but now theyâre with Ten they do them throughout the day. They really hated Nine didnât they!
Station/network watermarks on the bottom left or top left always look weird.
All channels on China Central Television (CCTV) have their watermarks on the top left corner of the screen.
