Watermarks

Seven used three sets of watermarks while reporting on the weekend’s AFL matches. It had the Olympic rings and “LIVE AND FREE” for Seven-produced matches, but no rings for its simulcast of Fox Footy matches. For the Geelong-GWS clash though it used the SEVEN SPORT / 7 watermark.

At least you QLDers get 7flix at all.

Your Prime7 cousins down south are still waiting!

Nothing wrong with mappy Andy.

they would either need a coloured mappy to cover 10 or get a clean feed without 10 watermark

Hopefully Ten will supply a clean feed.

Maybe the might get one for sports and general programing, but WIN will probably still need to use a coverup on Ten Eyewitness News because there’s no clean feed for that AFAIK.

the only thing they wont cover up is the word Ten in the opening only the watermark like they do with 9news

The LIVE watermark on “The Voice” doesn’t look very well positioned to me.

It looks even worse on SD.

It would look much better if it was positioned above the 9.

Oh geez.

If it was properly aligned with the “9” in Nine’s logo it might be passable, but yeah that doesn’t look great.

What was the reason again for the multichannels having the Olympic watermark but not Seven?

If I’m not mistaken, the reason for Seven (sometimes) not having the rings is because of In-Program Promotional Watermarks for non-Olympic programs.

One of the rare occurrences of the dot-less Nine and dotted Nine together

TV3 is advertising Chicago Med ahead of its premiere tonight @ 8:30PM

I really dislike the frequency the TV networks use to advertise their shows as watermarks. It used to be that only big show premieres would be advertised this way not normal TV shows such as Masterchef. I’d have to say Ten is the worst offender.

They’re all just as bad as one another when it comes to this. It’s not just Australia either.
