That’s interesting…as the Central Coast hasn’t had the little NBN watermark since playout was moved to Sydney a month or so ago (as they are in the same predicament with the metro Nine overlap).
And yes, that NBN font is smaller and thinner than it used to be when it was on here.

The HD text also has similar transparency to the Nine watermark.
I believe the Nine metro stations HD bug is more transparent now.

I saw something unique on 9Go! during Jaws 2 tonight. Like the “next/later” PRG where a photo and graphic pops up all directions in the bottom right, it was actually an advertisement for “The Meg” an upcoming film. Hazard a guess that’s the program’s sponsor (billboard) tonight. I think its cool.
Any caps/video (had a crawler too)?

Perhaps someone with capping equipment in Melbourne/Adelaide/Regional Queensland might be able to get a proper HD version but in the meantime, here’s one from 7mate Sydney and their barely watchable (not quite at 7Flix levels mind you, but still…) SD quality:

Thanks and I’m sorry, it’s not the best I know. But I’m not going out of my way to purchase equipment I might only use once in a blue moon, as I’m not a resident MS capper.
Just wanted to show it here, in case it was missed or noone is at home 
NB/ I’ll always use better quality caps via 7Plus streams, but obviously I can’t during AFL, nor for HD.

So no HD in regional QLD?
It’s just very poor HD. The bitrate is often lower than it should be for an MPEG2 HD channel, resulting in very bad blockiness and there’s times when the encoder just can’t handle it on fast-moving scenes. The bitrate was 7.6Mbps when I captured this which (I think) is too low.
This was just at the beginning of half-time

Oh, I meant no HD add-on to the watermark, like usually seen?

The HD addon is usually built in to the main watermark here so they most likely didn’t bother with making a special watermark with the HD built in for such a small audience.
