Use of AI generated content in TV programming

Oscar-winner Matthew McConaughey has trademarked his image and voice to protect them from unauthorised use by artificial intelligence (AI) platforms.

Clips including his famous catchphrase “alright, alright, alright” from the 1993 film, Dazed and Confused, have been registered to the United States Patent and Trademark Office database, the Wall Street Journal (WSJ) reports.

Parts of this ad for Melbourne look AI especially the umpire that gets out of the tram

More CGI and object tracking, the tram doesn’t have any real defects that AI produces especially when it comes to the more smaller features

I thought it was AR?

Surprised it hasn’t been mentioned here, The latest advert for Ladbrokes “new app” (don’t they have a new app every other week???) appears to be entirely AI generated… For a company that makes millions, using AI is so distasteful…

I can’t find a video of it.

What else do you expect? It’s a gambling company. Being distasteful is in its wheelhouse.

I believe there’s a Choices Flooring ad using AI - seen during DoND or Millionaire (cant remember which, think it was Millionaire) on the 11th of March.

It used comic sans for the wordmark on the back of a ute which was pretty funny

I must say, it’s one of the better ones. The first time i saw it i thought it was real.
