Over on CBS, the outgoing stations has been adopting new brands.
KMAX in Sacramento acts more as a sister station to WCCO, including an adaptation to the new boxed style seen in CBS O&Os:
Meanwhile, WUPA in Atlanta is advertised as Atlanta69 in recent promos. This is a market where CBS currently owns a CW station, but not a CBS station (that goes to WANF, owned by Gray).

TVNewsTalk users also spotted some domains in similar patterns are registered by CBS.
And bigger changes are coming in Pittsburgh and San Francisco, as CBS has filed a callsign change to the FCC. WPCW Pittsburgh will be renamed WPKD, while KBCW is to be called KPYX. It’s also speculated that CBS is dropping the News Now block. NewscastStudio has the scoop.
KBCW/KPYX is now advertised on screen as the inventively named KPIX+ (the K is silent), with new newscasts coming on 8 and 9 pm (the same timeslot as KRON’s now):
