Dominic Di Tommaso aka Dominator will be special guest on Better Homes and Gardens this Friday (March 12).
Good god, this can’t seriously be what the show is?
as slow paced as The voice, then just watching adults run around a cheap set?
Seems like this show makes Holey Moley seem like a world class production by comparison.
Should only be once a week if that. Wednesdays seems to suit the show better than Sunday-Tuesday. At least when it flops it would only take up one day of the schedule.
I must say I’ve enjoyed the show so far and am finding it better than what I thought it would be.
Some viewer reactions on Twitter:
I don’t know if it’s just my TV but the action is all glitchy like the fps is out?
Well its not great… How cheap was this to make? I think the biggest cost would be the coffee.
Did you hear that? It’s the sound of Nine Network executives and the producers of Gogglebox rubbing their hands in glee!
Is the only positive of the show Bill Woods and his commentating?
I feel like I’m watching Gladiators from the 90s… only this is running 3 nights a week.
Average… same fate as Holly Molly.
It does seem to be a 90 minute version of the Pursuit game from Gladiators.
I think it’s got a better chance at succeeding than Holey Moley.
It’s a bit more competitive, and has a more serious side to it (like Ninja Warrior) and no one like Rob Riggle making silly jokes all the time.
Any chances for both shows to succeed were and will be ruined by the fact that Seven decided to strip them when they’re best as a once a week airing. Holey Moley wouldn’t have suffered the fate it did ratings-wise if it was only confined to once or twice a week. Seven needs to learn to keep their new shows to a minimum first before stretching it out to multiple nights a week.
Just saw it on 7plus, and I got bored of it after the first game.
How do you ever let yourself stray away from Nine?
Who, me?
I think he meant SydneyCityTV.
Holey Moley on Sundays, then DWTS or The Voice on Mon/Tue and Ultimate Tag on Wed would be a much more rounded schedule. I guess thought Seven probably fears that if one flops they all flop, but then I think it’s the same if you’re working on a 3-4 week cycle too.
I notice the debut episode had snippets of competitors who didn’t do so well in the first two stages. I guess that’s how they were able to cut down the episode length from 2 hours 10 minutes to 1 hour 40 minutes.
Also social distancing was clearly evident in the seating arrangement, with family and friends grouped together in rows of five or seven seats.
I would have had Holey Moley on Sundays and Mondays, and Ultimate Tag on Tuesdays.
I watched Ultimate Tag by accident flicked the remote to tv instead of HDMI. I saw a man go and hide and then the other guy went and looked for him and then they he was chasing him . I went back to Disney+ Star.
It was all over in a minute ? This is it ?
