they’re probably saving it up for a big HOME AND AWAY SPECIAL EDITION to herald its return after the Olympics and to resolve the cliffhanger
That should have been this weeks issue though as it returns Monday.
Oh, i thought it had another week to go before it came back.
Na there’s only two weeks of Olympics and we are into the second week.
Yeah. Which is why it’s strange. For next week, they preview Five Bedrooms and Kat Stewart. Interesting if they have a Paramount+ show first week the streaming service starts.
I knew they had done it a few times so I thought I’d go back and check. Even I was shocked at how many times they’ve recycled this rubbish headline and cover for him let alone other H&A castmates.
Surely he’s had enough of being on the cover by now?
And there were actually more covers in between but these were all the similar themed ones since he left Home and Away.
so is each “why I had to come back” story different to the last one or are they just copy-and-paste jobs??
I mean, really, how many times can you rehash the one lede?
It’s not exclusive to Home and Away, it probably just seems like it since they get so many covers. Very unoriginal though.
I guess it could be worse…we could end up with the trashy “Pregnant!!” headline seen often in New Idea/Woman’s Day, yet when you turn to the article the heading is now “Pregnant??”.
Kat Stewart for Five Bedrooms on Paramount+ on the cover this week.
It’s good having Kat Stewart on the cover for Five Bedroom. It’s very rare for someone to be on the cover for a show on a streaming site.
Typical TV Week, with their main caption being “I’D LOVE TO GO BACK TO OFFSPRING”, with Five Bedrooms being the smaller caption. Same goes with Home and Away stars who appear in other shows. lol.
So glad that there is a Wentworth Special too. It’s been a while since the mag has done a special.
A dramatic scene from Wentworth on the cover this week featuring Kate Box and two random prison officers.
As much as i don’t like screen shots from shows on the cover, but this one of Wentworth actually looks good and dramatic.
Also, there is a nice 2-page tribute to Brian Henderson towards of the magazine. They have added these special tributes quite quickly over the last few issues, wich is good
They needed to do a better job with the presentation though. There’s a lot of vacant space at the top of that cover. Especially when you consider how it sits on some magazine stands. You just see nothing at the top.
Maybe something like “Wentworth is back!” or another show sneak peek could have been there or the “Australia’s Biggest and Best TV Guide” could have been a banner across the top rather than a bubble.
Depends how you look at it, the way I see it, the cover as is focuses your eyes on the middle and bottom as the top is uncluttered.
