TV Week

LOL. They’ll never leave behind their precious HAA, Steve Peacock or Channel 7 in general.

I know we all hope that the covers of TV Week will change, but i cant see it happening anytime soon either. It will be Home and Away for 3 of the 4 weeks per month. Lol.

But again, they have done some inprovements of late, including having Celia Pecquola and Lisa McCune on the covers. So there is some hope there. Lol

This week on Home and Away Week… @JBar

Yes. It’s Home and Away again. Ada Nicodemou and James Stewart main photo and also Sam Frost again in an inset photo.

I would have put Lisa Wilkinson on the cover since they have an interview with her about featuring in the Who Do You Think You Are? season return.

No they haven’t dug him up. :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

It’s the Home and Away one whose parents where oblivious to the existence of the original. Same goes for former Neighbours regular James Mason.

With Thomas Woodgate gone now, Deputy Editor Amber Giles writes the Welcome column in TV Week this week.

who’s this week’s Home And Away cover star?

Of course it’s Home and Away. Sophie Dillman ‘Why We Had To Leave’. It’s another misleading headline which makes you think she and partner Patrick O’Connor have quit the show.

However, the story reveals that when the filming shutdown was announced, they decided to go home to Queensland to be with their families before the borders shut down because of coronavirus.

The clickbait-style headlines are the worst.

I don’t see why they think they have to fool readers into buying their magazine like the women’s mags do. Why can’t they put something in there that people want to read to sell mags?

I agree. I don’t get TV Week of late - and their click-bait type headlines on their covers. For them to continue their “the reason I had to leave” type headlines every second week for their Home and Away issues is becoming tiresome.

It was good having the likes of Celia Pacquola (and Lisa McCune’s long awaited return) on the cover a few weeks ago. I was looking forward to more of these types, but they’ve returned to 3-or-4 weeks in a row of Home and Away.

As mentioned a few posts above, they could have had Lisa Wilkinson on the cover last week for Who Do You Think You Are (and talk about The Project). Or heck, even have Bert Newton on this weeks cover (as he appears on WDYTYA) and talk about the factual show, his retirement and the Logies changes / postponement.
