TV Week is so obsessed with McLeod’s Daughters too. I’m surprised they haven’t chosen Brett Tucker and Michala Banas for a cover since they have reunited for Blue Murder Hotel now.

Nooo, because they have a connection to Neighbours and we know how TV WEEK loves to not promote an ex Neighbours star!
Does anyone know why the mag does not come out on Mondays anymore? In Sydney’s South, it has been coming out on Wednesday’s in recent weeks.
Apparently, this was a thing in (parts of) Melbourne for a while too, according to some Facebook posts.
I saw it at the checkout in Woolies today.
I heard someone say on the radio last week that some newsagencies were no longer receiving magazine deliveries throughout the week. There was sign up last week advising customers that the magazines that had been out on Mondays in the past will not be delivered until Wednesday now.
Seems like the distributors are going to kill newsagency sales which are already struggling. Another newsagency near me (in Bexley) has put up signs this week advising they are having a going out of business sale.

But such a shame that Newsagencies are now receiving magazine deliveries on Wednesdays, instead of Mondays. They are a dying breed, unfortunately. Late deliveries won’t help either. Especially for Weekly magaginzes.
Another newsagency closing down - now in Bexley? Sigh… Nearby Rockdale Plaza Newsagent reduced its size by half recently too. The workers there said that rent was high, and that magazine sales are going down too. So thus, reducing the size of the store.
A lot of newsagencies in general have more gifts and pieces for sale in their stores, with magazines and the newspapaer stands reducing in size (I know that they sell more lottery than anything else, but im not going there!).
Yes there have been many newsagency closures and shrinkages.
The newagency in Southgate Sylvania shrunk to half size a few years back. Crazy because the other half of the shop has been shuttered for years since.
The other newsagency on the high street in Rockdale shut a few years back too. So many others are gone too: Kogarah on Rocky Point Road, a second newsagency in Arncliffe and a kiosk at the railway station. Allawah is gone. Hurstville once had three newsagencies and now there is only a small one in Westfield.

It’s good that they are on the cover but that is such a misleading, fake news headline.
And obviously an altered background but who chose that hideous shade of blue for the cover?
