It’s never great when they use a still image from the show rather than a posed shot.
it’s a staged picture of him in character. And it’s acting. That’s what actors do. it’s not like they took a random paparazzi photo of him in the street, and plastered it on the cover without him knowing.

A bit weird that they used a photo of him from 30 years ago as the main photo. Could have at least done a side by side with a current shot.

When are we going to have some of the current frop of TV stars on the cover like Melanie Bracewell, Tim McDonald and Mel Tracina?

I’m sure they will be on the front cover once they’ve been on Home and Away .
But in all seriousness, I don’t think Bonnie has done much since leaving Home and Away, yet she’s still making appearances on the front cover. Stephen I can understand a bit more, given he is reguarly in various shows, however, he still makes too many appearances, when as you mentioned @JBar, there are many other TV stars (Kitty Flanagan, Shaun Micallef, and Scott Cam).

Yes. Maybe Shaun Micaleff and Kitty Flanagan on a cover. Or the whole cast of Fisk: Kitty Flanagan, Marty Sheargold, Julia Zemiro, Aaron Chen.
There are actually quite a few comedians who make appearances on many TV shows that should get a cover shot.
Maybe a composite cover fearuring people like Guy Montgomery, Urzila Carlson, Aaron Chen and Pete Helliar.

There are a couple of premieres this week as well - I thought Melissa Leong might have got Dessert Masters on the cover.

magazine covers are designed to attract sales…H&A cast must do that…Dessert Masters not so much. i don’t think the covers are awarded on merit…
What about Neighbours cast?
They had Toadie on the cover last week (although it was an old photo of him). Would be nice to have Neighbours on the cover a bit more frequent though.
