Triple M Network

Yes they called the Top 10 Shootout action on Saturday afternoon in full also amongst Caulfield Guineas horse racing as well. They still played music in between horse races and even at the mid-point of the Supercars Top 10 Shootout they played a song.

But on Sunday they appeared to be mixing music with the Bathurst race call throughout the day. I wanted a full Bathurst call so I ended up switching to SEN.

Very interesting, so we could assume we’ll see this for cricket over the summer as well?

Cricket is more complicated as some members of Seven’s commentary team (including Simon Katich and Bharat Sundaresan) work for SEN’s coverage.

How would that prevent Seven airing the MMM commentary?

There may be a financial reason not to? As in sponsors.

fuck horse racing just play rock music

If only they’d balance “Rock, sport & comedy” equally.

Oh wait! We can’t say the word r*ck anymore at the M’s.

Anthony Maroon has suffered a heart attack, very sad to hear but is recovering well per Danny Weidler.
Best wishes.

I suspect your missing a much bigger picture here, involving SEN, 7 TV, gambling revenue, New anti-gambling ad legislation and Horse Racing TV rights…

I suspect he doesn’t care…

With the announcement of Lu & Jarch doing national drive on the HIT Network in 2027, who are we expecting to cover the 2 - 4pm shift on Triple M?

You’d hope back to the way it was before, but would that cost too much?

It will probably go back to announcers but they can always voice track with Dangerous Dave or something for the whole country.

Drive / talk shows at 14:00 is just rediculous. Everybody is still busy at work, I switch to music streaming when they come on. Bring back announcers

Is there ANYONE here who actually wants a talk show from 2pm on Triple M?

Not me. Just Triple the Music please.

I’d like to see Rosie Walton return to being weekday afternoons announcer in Melbourne. And she could also contribute to The Rush Hour & Saturday Rub.

Lovely person but her over-the-top laughing on the breakfast show is a turn off. Mick’s show needs a freshen up and this could be the change.

What about music until 3 and get JB & Billy to do 3 - 6pm?
