and expect the regional version of this to have its usual female-skewed songs
As typical with Triple M, it’d be largely the same as the previous years countdowns. Nothing too outlandish no matter the network, metro or regional, just in different places.
And Perth will probably be full of dance and hip-hop as opposed to AC/DC and Chisel.
I had a listen to the Rock 2000 countdown while I was in Brisbane this week. This was one of the best countdowns I have listened to in a very long time.
The Triple M countdown will be same over flogged songs that they played every other year. Guaranteed a AC/DC, Queen, Chisel or INXS song will be number 1.
Triple M, please prove me wrong.
Or Nirvana’s Smells Like Teen Spirit…
those bands are the pinnacle of music though what do u think is number 1 then
I’m pretty sure that the last few Triple M GOAT Countdowns over the past two years on the regional stations have been networked from the Sydney/Melbourne versions.
Even their metro Most Played Countdown back in January was unchanged for the regionals, apart from being rebadged as the Summer 600.
why not some Pink Floyd, zepplin or even the beatles?
the issue with the MMMs is that they have a very limited playlist and once you get to the top 100 of the list, its somewhat predictable because its the same stuff they have been flogging for 30 years
Isaac Smith leaving the Triple M AFL coverage to host KIIS Melbourne breakfast.
It’s very annoying how much they repeat the same song the next day miss advertising the great rock variety on Brisbane Triple M and they just play the same AC/DC song the next day even guns n roses and cold chisels to
Should it be Sydney the original the first station that started with the MMMs in August 2nd 1980 same as Brisbane as 4 Triple M FM in August 22nd why is Gold Coast taking all the credit
Yeah, I laugh at how they thought wedging the word ‘Gold’ back into the name somehow would make it authentic and original again.
They should get rid of the Triple M name on the Gold Coast and just have as Gold FM again only need one Triple M station in south east Queensland
Probably best to avoid the stations on Saturday Afternoon, as if we needed 6 hours of racing coverage that’s being covered elsewhere…
When have Triple M taken racing coverage?
Advertising it from this Saturday, 12-6, assume it’s from now until the Flemington Carnival (which this year is a little longer as they have the Cox Plate meeting while Moonee Valley is being rebuilt/ruined).
